Meditation is about finding inner peace and harmony in quiet stillness. Meditation is also about getting to know oneself deeply, to see clearly how my experiences and conceptions creates myself but also about getting in contact with the unconditioned beyond this. Regular meditation is good for both your physical and psychological health. There are thousands of research articles that shows its benefits, e.g. that the brain develops positively by meditation practice.
Our meditation has its roots in the Zen tradition which, among other things, means that we meditate together in stillness and silence in periods of 20-25 minuter with walking meditation in between. To meditate in group contributes to supporting each others concentration and tranquility. Vi have meditation classes at the institute every day in the week. On månday nights we have free entrance.
We sometimes call meditation "nothingness-doing" and find it deeply meaningful! We welcome you to come and do nothing together with us!
